Finding programs Training for Me ranks published programs by career category (70%) and location (30%). The filters cover category, qualification, delivery mode and state. Each public program page shows the program's about section, intake dates, entry requirements and cost and funding, with Save, Share and Enquire actions. RooKi connects school leavers and students with jobs, training and career guidance, and it is free forever for students. Create your account Sign up from the audience links on the sign-in screen. Choose Student, then use "Create your free profile" under the promise "Free forever for students. Always." There is nothing to pay and no card to add. The welcome copy reads "Join Queensland students and school leavers launching their careers." Your profile drives your matches, and how complete it is decides how much employers and training providers can see. Build your profile Start with your basics: first name, last name, city, state, postcode, bio and photo. From there, fill in your education, work and volunteer experience, and skills, to push your completeness percentage higher. Every application you send moves through a small set of statuses you can follow on "Activity → Applications". The statuses Applied — your application has been sent to the employer. Under Review — the employer is looking at it. This covers both the initial review and a phone screen. Interview — you have been invited to interview. Hired — the employer has hired you. The Workplace Readiness Certification is a short assessment that earns you the "Workplace Ready" badge employers can see. What it covers There are 25 questions across 5 domains: Professionalism & Conduct, Communication in the Workplace, Work Health & Safety Awareness, Teamwork & Reliability, and Digital & Financial Basics. The pass mark is 80%. The page invites you to "Answer every question to earn your badge", and you submit with "Submit assessment". Every live job is shown to every student — your match score ranks the list, it never hides jobs from you. How the score is built Your score starts as Category 50% + Employment type 25% + Location 25%, then it is reduced if the listing's requirements — skills, systems or licences — are not met. "My Resume" holds a resume builder and a "Files & versions" tab, and only the version marked current is shared with employers. Using the builder The builder keeps up to 5 versions. When you create a new one, the oldest version that is not current is removed automatically. Work through the education, work and volunteer, and skills sections — starting your resume earns 10 XP, completing all resume sections earns 15, and downloading it earns 10. You earn XP for the actions that build your career profile, and those points move you through four levels. Levels 1 Explorer — 0 XP 2 Navigator — 200 XP 3 Pathfinder — 400 XP 4 Career Ready — 500 XP Your level strip shows "Level n · Name" and how many XP you have left to go. Once you reach the top, it reads "Max level reached". Earning XP Bigger steps are worth more. The career assessment turns your answers into an archetype, three core quotients and a list of recommended career families. What it covers There are 8 sections — Aptitude, Personality, Emotional Intelligence, Adaptability, Interests, Values, Motivators, and Work Style & Life — with 39 questions in total.
