Students - Complete your profile and control who sees it

Your profile drives your matches, and how complete it is decides how much employers and training providers can see.

Build your profile

Start with your basics: first name, last name, city, state, postcode, bio and photo. From there, fill in your education, work and volunteer experience, and skills, to push your completeness percentage higher.

What your completeness unlocks

  • Below 30%: your profile shows "Invisible to employers".
  • 80% or more: your profile shows "Visible to employers" and you receive a +5 match boost.
  • Assessment result depth unlocks by band: Base at 0%, Silver at 50%, Gold at 80% and Platinum at 100%.

Who can see you

Open Profile, then "Profile visibility & sharing", described as "Control who can see your profile and share your link". Three toggles sit there:

  • "Visible to employers in talent search" — on by default.
  • "Visible to training providers" — on by default.
  • "Public share link" — off by default. Its copy explains: "When on, anyone with your share link can view your profile — no login required…"

Your video, assessment results and resume are visible to employers by default. The status pill reads "Public link", "Employers only" or "Private" depending on your choices. If your public link is off, a visitor who opens it sees "Profile not available".

Photos and video

A profile photo can be JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. A profile video can be MP4, WebM or MOV up to 200 MB.

Still stuck?

Open the chat bubble and say which toggle you changed, what you expected to see, and whether you are on a phone or a computer.
