Students - XP, levels, medals and quests
You earn XP for the actions that build your career profile, and those points move you through four levels.
Levels
- 1 Explorer — 0 XP
- 2 Navigator — 200 XP
- 3 Pathfinder — 400 XP
- 4 Career Ready — 500 XP
Your level strip shows "Level n · Name" and how many XP you have left to go. Once you reach the top, it reads "Max level reached".
Earning XP
Bigger steps are worth more. Completing the career assessment and completing Workplace Readiness are 75 XP each, completing all profile fields is 25, and sending a training enquiry is 60. Smaller steps add up too: creating your account and uploading a profile photo are 10 each, starting your resume is 10, adding education, work or volunteer experience or skills is 10 each, completing all resume sections is 15, and downloading your resume is 10. Exploring careers pays 10 for your first match, 15 for three in full and 20 for five, and reading 1, 3, 5 or 10 resource articles pays 10, 20, 20 and 30. Saving a job is 15 and viewing your first open job listing is 5.
Medals
There are 12 medals in total. Journey medals such as First Steps, Explorer, Ready to Work, Go-Getter, All In and Hired! mark your progress. Employer-visible medals — Self-Aware, Workplace Ready, Skills Verified, Backed & Endorsed, On Camera and Pathway Planner — are the ones that appear on your public profile.
Quests
Weekly quests are drawn from XP actions you have not completed yet, so they change as you make progress. When you earn a medal, a modal announces it and the XP awarded, and tells you how many medals are waiting, with "Got it" or "Dismiss all n" to clear them.
