Students - Your resume: builder and uploads

"My Resume" holds a resume builder and a "Files & versions" tab, and only the version marked current is shared with employers.

Using the builder

The builder keeps up to 5 versions. When you create a new one, the oldest version that is not current is removed automatically. Work through the education, work and volunteer, and skills sections — starting your resume earns 10 XP, completing all resume sections earns 15, and downloading it earns 10.

Uploading a file

The "Files & versions" tab keeps up to 10 uploaded files, accepts PDF, DOC or DOCX up to 10 MB, and allows up to 10 uploads per day. As with the builder, the oldest non-current file is removed once you go over the limit.

Which version employers see

The version marked current is the one employers see. Setting a new current version replaces the old one immediately. You cannot delete the current version — mark another version as current first.

Your download is named First-Last-Resume-RooKi.pdf, using your own first and last name.

If an upload fails

  • "Choose a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file first."
  • "Upload failed — please try again."
  • "file exceeds the 10 MB upload limit"
  • "upload limit reached — try again tomorrow"

Still stuck?

Open the chat bubble with the file type and size you tried, the exact message you saw, and whether you are on a phone or a computer.
