General - Sign-in and account help
How to get to the right sign-in screen, and what to do if your account is not set up the way you expected.
Sign in as the right audience
Sign-in and sign-up are separated by audience, so students, employers and training providers each have their own entry point. If you followed a link meant for another audience, you will be sent to that audience's sign-in screen.
If you are on the wrong screen
Use the audience links on the sign-in screen to switch: Student, Employer or Training provider. Choosing the link that matches your account takes you to the correct form.
Wrong account type
Your account type is set the first time you sign in and cannot be changed by you afterwards. A student account is a personal account and is not part of an organisation. If you picked the wrong account type, contact support through the chat bubble and we will help.
Signing in with your work email
Employer and training provider accounts belong to a work organisation, which is tied to your work email domain. This means:
- Team invitations can only be sent to the same email domain as the organisation.
- Free email providers such as Gmail or Outlook are not accepted when creating an organisation.
If your organisation already exists on RooKi, ask your team admin to invite you rather than creating a new one.
Belonging to more than one organisation
You can belong to more than one organisation and switch between them from the account menu. This is useful if you work across more than one business or training provider.
Signing out on a shared device
If you are using a shared or public computer, sign out from the account menu when you have finished. That keeps your profile, applications and organisation details private to you.
Still stuck?
Open the chat bubble and tell us which sign-in screen you are on, what you expected to happen, the exact message you saw, and whether you are on a phone or a computer.
